Monk Development has released a pretty cool report that unpacks research collected from 50 churches across the country from 2009-2012. They break down their study into four different “personas”: The New Visitor; The Regular Attender; The Engaged Member; The Mature Disciple.
Here are just a couple of the nuggets of info you’ll find in this free report:
- In 2012, the number of new visitors using church websites has jumped to 46.2 percent, a 16.7 percent increase from 2009.
- From 2009 to 2012, the churches in the study experienced a 110 percent increase in the amount of traffic going to their sites through search engines.
Monk Development has taken the data and transformed it into guidelines, including suggestions on creating the most powerful content for your website and recommendations regarding the importance of mobile.
